President
DFI and
Senior Principal DFILANGAN ENGINEERING & ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

Rudolph P. Frizzi has over 22 years of geotechnical engineering and project management experience with particular emphasis on foundations for arenas and high-rise structures in urban areas, embankment stability and large-scale land development on projects throughout the United States and overseas. He regularly prepares technical papers, and presents at technical lectures and seminars. His deep foundation expertise includes investigation, design, and construction of very high capacity drilled foundations (including shafts stabilised utilising both polymer and mineral slurries), augered cast-in-place piles and full-scale field load testing of these elements using the Osterberg Cell (O -Cell), Statnamic, and conventional static top-load testing. Rudolph has provided expert geotechnical consultation and testimony on excavation and foundation cases. He is currently a Senior Principal at Langan Engineering and Environmental Services and is also the current President of the Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) in the USA.
